I never know what to write in a blank guest book, so I usually end up only writing, “Congratulations, so happy for you!” Lame, I know. I also know that I’m not the only one who does this. So when I was pregnant I decided to find a way to get better responses from people and thus better memories for my little man. I have now done different variations of these cards for bridal showers, baby showers and birthday parties and have not been disappointed. Some of my favorite responses came from a simple prompt of “What is your favorite memory of mom and dad?” Some of these cards were put aside in the “not to be given to the little man until after college,” but they’re great laughs and memories for the hubs and me.
After the party, collect the cards and store them in a pretty box, a scrapbook or binder with photo sleeve pages, or scan and include in digital photo album fill of pictures from the event!
